            This year I had the opportunity to use the Kathmandu TentPak and I was very impressed at its ability to carry different amounts of weight.

I used it for deer and elk hunting this year and liked especially how the shoulder straps had dense enough padding preventing them from digging into my shoulders.This was really nice on my elk hunt when I had to carry the loins and rib meat which weighed about 35 pounds, making my pack weigh around 55 to 60 pounds.

I also was impressed at how you can adjust the torso length on the pack so I could set it to the most comfortable position for me.

I would say that it is an excellent choice for hunters because it has enough pockets and adjustments to keep everything organized and stable so that your equipment doesn’t shift weight and  throw you of balance. This was nice when I had to get on and off my horse while hunting.
