All-In-One Grab-and-Go Emergency / Camping System

TentPak™ permanently combines a tent and a backpack into one integrated unit. It was created to prepare for "Grab and Go" emergencies  following the events of 9/11. With the tsunami of December 2004 leveling the northwest Indonesian coastline of Sumatra and causing extensive damage around the Indian Ocean, urgency to secure the US patent increased until it was finished in 2007.

TentPak™ was invented and patented by Galen Bench, while living in Indonesia. Seeing the suffering and lack of preparation by most of the tsunami survivors he finalized an all-in-one backpack-tent combination unit for his neighbors and friends to use for future situations.  By preparing shelter and enough water, food, clothing and appropriate medical and survival gear for at least 72 hours, people evacuated from their homes due to natural or man made emergency situations can survive three or more days until help arrives. This is the underlying mission of TentPak™; to be "Always Prepared".
